There is confusion about pushbacks because the government does not come out clean and more information has to be made available.
It is unacceptable that people have drowned.
The issue of pushbacks, whether at sea or on land, has to be dealt with, especially after Cyprus was found guilty of violating the human rights of these persons by the European Court of Human Rights and was asked to remedy the situation and not to repeat it.
